COOLING SYSTEM: THERMOSTAT
The thermostat sits between the radiator and engine. It's very important job is to block the flow of coolant to the radiator until the engine warms to a proper operating temperature. It is strongly suggested that the thermostat be changed whenever replacing a radiator as a precaution. Thermostats can lock up and cause serious engine damage if not periodically replaced.
