Each of these DIY kits includes all necessary wiring for the Spal brushless fans<br>-Temperature sensor (175F - 195F)<br><br>-Temperature sensor harness<br><br>-Fan pigtail harness (QTY:2)<br><br>Temperature sensor range<br>Each temperature sensor works within a set range. This range is not adjustable so please choose the proper sensor for your application. At the lower temperature the fan will turn on at it's minimum speed. As temperature increases the fan speed and airflow will increase. At the sensors highest temperature the fan will be on at full speed and will be moving it's maximum rated CFM.<br><br>Choosing the right temperature sensor range<br>When choosing your temperature sensor you should think about the recommended operating temperature of your engine as well as your thermostat temperature. You will want to make sure that the minimum "fan on" temperature is higher than your thermostat rating. For example if you are using a 170 degree thermostat you would want to use the 175-195 or 190-215 sensors. If you use a sensor that has a minimum temperature that is lower than your thermostat the fan will never be able to reach its lowest setting and turn off. <br><br> <br><br>Wiring your kit<br>Please see Spal's wiring diagram below before wiring your brushless fan. <br><br>Note: These kits will require the purchase of a maxi style fuse holder and fuse. A 40 amp fuse for 300W fans and 50 amp fuse for 500W fans.
