The Airman Compressor original radiator is a plastic/aluminum radiator. We have included general specifications for it below. We do not manufacture this radiator and have been informed that those that still do charge well over $1,000 for this item. Original radiator shown below:
Our solution: A custom all aluminum radiator by size. Now this solution will require aluminum welding, but for sake of cost, our item is in the mid $200 and will ultimately get you a customized radiator solution that provides over 100% cooling capacity than the original plastic OEM unit. These items are heavy duty and utilized a 2 1/4 thick core (top and bottom tanks are 3 inch). The original airman compressor radiator looks to be 1 1/2 thick in the middle and only 2 inch thick on the top and bottom. For this reason, we strongly suggest you check what kind of space you have for a thicker radiator.
Our records indicate the airman compressor to use a 22 inch tall radiator. The width may very from 16-19 inches. We suggest using 1 of the 2 universal radiator kits below for your base.

Once you pick your desired size, we must look @ what diameter you want the radiator hoses to be. These radiator kits for the airman will come with 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 hose connections in the box. Most original airman compressors utilized 1.375 top and bottom radiator hoses.
Once can look to use these included accessories and make adjustments to the hoses or move to a smaller connection 1 1/4 and add a sleeve and hard clamp or even 1 1/2 both both top and bottom and get a new radiator hose or adapter for use. Some consumers may opt to make their own radiator hose connections by purchasing piping in aluminum to the exact dimensions and having their welder attach them.
